Did you know that there are people who actually believe that they are living in a staged reality show?
There are normal (or not so normal) people like you and I who have been studied and shown to suffer from the delusion that they are being watched by cameras and are in some sort of television show when they really aren’t at all.
This is what is called the Truman Show Delusion.
I was watching Top Gun and got to thinking about actors who will dive so deep into character that they too may suffer from the same delusions.
How is one to distinguish from actually experiencing an event such as soaring through the sky in a P-51 Mustang as a fighter pilot versus starting in a movie as a fake character who did the very same thing?
