Do you want to play a game with me?
When it’s safe…Stand up and spin around until you get SUPER dizzy. Once you have stopped, look around the entire room and notice how things are spinning and how uneasy you feel.
Once you’ve calmed your mind, do it again. Only this time, put your hands at steeple as though you were praying but don’t fold your fingers in; keep them straight up. Now, instead of looking all around the room, look only at the tips of your fingers.
What did you notice?
It’s likely that you were able to recenter and calm your dizzy spins a lot easier by having a focal point.
