Imagine this...You take 50 babies and place them in a living condition where they were only provided their basic needs to survive.
The intent is to determine if babies could learn to speak on their own without ever hearing language.
No love, attention or touching...
The bare minimum care was provided to these babies.
This real-life experiment happened and was a flop. Not because the language that the children did or didn't speak...
But because all 50 babies DIED. The lack of physical human connection caused what current doctors would now diagnose as failure to thrive.
